Gary "Tuck" Tucker, owner of Tuck's Turkey Calls was born and raised in Northern Oklahoma, and has always been drawn to the great outdoors. In the spring of 1999 Gary decided to try his hand at something new. Turkey hunting for some unexplainable reason caught his attention and it wasn’t long before Gary found himself gearing up and heading into the turkey  woods with his oldest son. Unknown to Gary, this turkey-hunting trip would be one that changed his life as he had only walked into the woods 100 yards and realized he was having a heart attack. Two days later he found himself in the hospital as he began his long recovery from triple by-pass surgery. Needless to say this life-changing event halted his dreams of turkey hunting until 2000 but did open another door. Tuck started making calls in 2003 and the response from customers is outstanding. Being a turkey hunter, Gary make calls that he would like to hunt with. The long box calls are his preference and he like to use wood with a history. The mixture of domestic and exotic wood produces some outstanding looking and outstanding sounding calls. Several calls have been sold to some of the nations best call makers and collectors with great feedback and is always looking for  improvement in the quality of calls.
